The Miracle of Christmas

A (D)Child is born tonight in Bethlehem.

His mother holds Him close and sings a (Gmaj7)sweet lullaby.

(Em7)All the world lay sleeping, (D)unaware that God Himself has come in (A)the (Dmaj7)night.

(G)The (D)shepherds tremble as the angels sing,

and in their song the voice of God speaks (Gmaj7)peace to the world.

A (Em7)miracle has happened;

God has (D)come and God has spoken,

but the (Gsus2)miracle has only just begun.

And the God who (F#m7)spoke is (G)speaking still,

(G)and the God who (F#m7)came still (G)comes.

And the (Bm)miracle that (A)happened still (G)happens in the heart that will believe and receive the miracle of (D)Christmas.

(G)So (D)come to Bethlehem again and see

the One who's come to rescue us,

our (Gmaj7)Savior and King.

Bring your (Em7)past, the joy, the sorrow,

all you (D)hope to find tomorrow,

and (Gsus2)hear the words again, "Fear not,"

and know that God is near.

For the God (G)ceive the miracle of Christmas.

(D)The (Bm)miracle.

(A)And the God who spoke is (G)speaking still,

(G)and the God who (F#m7)came still comes.

And the miracle that (A)happened still (G)happens in the heart that will (Em7)believe and (G)receive the miracle of Christmas.

(D)Believe (G)the miracle of Christmas.

Will you believe?
