Believe Me Now

I watch (D7)you looking out (G)across the raging (Gm)water,

(D5)so sure (D7)your only hope lies (G)on the other (Gm)side.

(D5)You hear (D7)the enemy that's (G)closing in (Gm)around you,

and (F)I (Bbmaj13)know that (F)you don't have the (Gsus2)strength to fight,

but (F)do (Bbmaj13)you (Gsus2)have the faith to stand and (D)believe Me now,

(Asus)believe Me here?

(Bm7)Remember all the times I've told you loud and clear I am with you,

and I am (Bm)for (A)you.

So (D)believe Me now,

believe Me now.

I am the One who waved My hand and split (Gm)the ocean,

(D)I am the One who spoke the words and raised the (Gm)dead.

(D)And I've loved you long before I (G)set the world in (Gm)motion.

(F)I (Bbmaj7)know (F)all the fears you're (G)feeling now.

But (F)do (Bbmaj7)you

(Gsus2)remember who I am?

Will you (D)believe Me now,

(A)believe it's true.

I (Bm7)never have, I never will (A)abandon you.

And the God that I have always been I (Bm)will forever (C)be.

So (D)believe Me now.

(F)I am (G5)the God who never wastes a (C)single hurt that you endure.

My words (G5)are true and all My (Bbmaj7)promises are (C)sure.

So (D)believe Me now.

(Dm)Oh, (Bbmaj7)believe Me now.

(C)So (D)believe Me now,

(A)believe Me here.

(Bm7)Remember all the times I've told you loud and clear I am with you,

and I am (Bm)for (A)you.

So (D)believe Me now,

(A)believe it's true.

I (Bm7)never have, I never will (A)abandon you.

And the God that I have always been I (Bm)will forever (C)be.

So (D)believe Me now,

believe Me now,

believe Me now.
