Find C
Look for two black keys together. The white key just left of them is C. There is one in every octave.

Put your hand down
Right thumb on the C in the middle of the piano. Each finger gets the next white key: C D E F G.

Read the bubbles
Higher on the page means higher on the piano. The letter inside tells you the key, so you cannot get lost.

Count the beat
A filled bubble lasts one beat. A ring lasts two or more. Two joined together share one beat.
