The Glorious Unfolding

Lay your (C)head down tonight, take a rest from the fight.

(Am7)Don't try to figure it out,

just (Fsus2)listen to what I'm whispering to your heart.

(G)'Cause I (C)know this is not anything like you thought the (Am7)story of your life was gonna be,

and it (Fsus2)feels like the end has started closing in on you,

but it's (G)just (C)not (Fsus2)true.

There's so (Am)much (G)of (F)the (C)(Dm7)story (C)that's (G)still yet (C)to (Am7)(F)unfold.

And this is (C)going to be a glorious (F)unfolding.

Just you (Dm7)wait and see, and (F)you will be amazed.

(Fsus2)You've just (C)got to believe the story is so far from (F)over,

so hold on to (Dm7)ev'ry promise (F)God has made to (Am7)us and watch this (F)glorious (C)unfolding.

(Fsus2)God's (C)plan from the start for this world and your heart has (Am7)been to show His glory and His grace,

(Fsus2)forever revealing the depth and the beauty of

His (G)unfailing love, and the (Am)(G)story (F)has (C)(Dm7)only (C)(G)begun.

And (Fsus2)this (G)is (Am9)folding.

(G)We were (Dm7)made to run through (C)fields of (F)forever,

singing songs to our (G)Savior and King.

So (Am7)let us remember:

(C)this life we're living is (F)just the beginning of the beginning of this (C)glorious (F)unfolding.

We will (Dm7)watch and see, and (F)we will be (Am7)amazed.

If we (G7sus)just (C)keep on believing the story is so far from (F)over and hold on to (Dm7)ev'ry promise (F)God has made to (Am7)us,

we'll see the (Fsus2)glorious (C)unfolding.

(F)Just (C)watch and see;

(F)unfolding. This is (C)just the beginning of the be ginning.

(Am7)folding.)
