Frosty The Snowman

Frosty the snow man was a (F)jolly (G)happy (C)soul,

with a (F)corncob (G)pipe and a (C)button (Am)nose and two (Dm)eyes made (G7)out of (C)coal.

Frosty the snow man is a (F)fairy (G)tale they (C)say,

he was (F)made of (G)snow but the (C)children (Am)know how he (Dm)came to (G7)life one (C)day.

There (F)must have been some (Em)magic in that (Dm)old silk (G7)hat they (C)found.

For (G)when placed it on his (G#dim)head he (Am7)began to (D7)dance (G)around.

Oh, (C)Frosty the snow man was as (F)live as (G)he could (C)be,

and the (F)children (G)say he could (C)laugh and (Am)play just the (Dm7)same as (G7)you and (C)me.

Frosty the snow man knew the (F)sun was (G)hot that (C)day,

so he (F)said, "Let's (G)run and we'll (C)have some (Am)fun now (Dm)before I (G7)melt (C)away."

Down to the village, with a (F)broomstick (G)in his (C)hand,

running (F)here and (G)there all (C)around the (Am)square,

saying, (Dm)"Catch me (G7)if you (C)can."

He (F)led them down the (Em)streets of town right (Dm)to the (G7)traffic (C)cop.

And (G)on paused a moment (G#dim)when he he (Am7)heard him (D7)holler (G)"Stop!"

For (C)Frosty the snow man had to (F)hurry (G)on his (C)way,

but he (F)waved (G)goodbye sayin', (C)"Don't you (Am)cry,

I'll be (Dm7)back (G7)again some (C)day."

Thumpety thump thump, thumpety thump thump,

look at Frosty (G7)go.

Thumpety thump thump, thumpety thump thump,

over the hills of (C)snow.
