Frosty The Snowman

(C)Frosty the Snow Man was a (F)jolly,

(F#dim)happy (C)soul, with a (F)corncob (F#dim)pipe and a (C)button (A7)nose and two (Dm)eyes made (G7)out of coal.

(C)Frosty the Snow (C7)Man is a (F)fairy (F#dim)tale,

He was (F)made of (F#dim)snow but the (C)children (A7)know how he (Dm)came to (G7)life one (C)day.

There (F)must have (F#dim)been some (C)magic in that (Dm)old silk (G7)hat they (C)found,

for (G)when they placed it on his (G#dim)head he (Am)began to (D7)dance (G7)around.

Oh, (C)Frosty the Snow (C7)Man was (F)alive as (F#dim)he could (C)be,

and the (F)children (F#dim)say he could (C)laugh and (A7)play just the (Dm)same as (G7)you and (C)me.

Frosty the Snow Man knew the (F)sun was (F#dim)hot that (C)day,

so he (F)said, "Let's (F#dim)run and we'll (C)have some (A7)fun now (Dm)before I (G7)melt away."

(C)Down to the (C7)village with a (F)broomstick (F#dim)in his (C)hand,

running (F)here and (F#dim)there all (C)around the (A7)square,

saying, (Dm)"Catch me (G7)if you (C)can."

He (F)led them (F#dim)down the (C)streets of town right (Dm)to the (G7)traffic (C)cop,

and (G)only paused a moment (G#dim)when he he (Am)heard him (D7)holler,

(G7)"Stop!" For (C)Frosty the Snow (C7)Man had to (F)hurry (F#dim)on his (C)way,

but he (F)waved (F#dim)goodbye sayin', (C)"Don't you (A7)cry,

I'll be (Dm)back (G7)again some (C)me.

day." Thumpety thump thump, thumpety thump thump,

look at (Gdim)Frosty (G)go.

(G7)Thumpety thump thump, thumpety thump thump,

over the hills of (C)snow.
