Frosty The Snowman

(C)Frosty the Snow Man was a (F)jolly happy (C)soul,

with a (F)corncob pipe and a (C)button (Am)nose and two (Dm7)eyes made (G7)out of (C)coal.

(C)Frosty the Snow Man is a (F)fairy tale they (C)say;

he was (F)made of snow but the (C)children (A7)know how he (Dm7)came to (G7)life one (C)day.

There (Fmaj7)must have been some (Em7)magic in that (Dm7)old silk hat they (Cmaj7)found,

for (G)when they placed it (G#dim)on his head he (Am7)began to (D7)dance (G)around.

Oh, (C)Frosty the Snow Man was (F)alive as he could (C)be,

and the (F)children say he could (C)laugh and (A7)play just the (Dm7)same as (G7)you and (C)me.

Frosty the Snow Man knew the (F)sun was hot that (C)day,

so he (F)said, "Let's run and we'll (C)have some (Am)fun now (Dm7)before I (G7)melt (C)away."

(C)Down to the village with a (F)broomstick in his (C)hand,

running (F)here and there all (C)around the (A7)square saying,

(Dm7)"Catch me (G7)if you (C)can."

He (Fmaj7)led them down the (Em7)streets of town right (Dm7)to the traffic (Cmaj7)cop,

and (G)only paused a (G#dim)mo ment when he he (Am7)heard him (D7)holler,

(G)"Stop!" For (C)Frosty the Snow Man had to (F)hurry on his (C)way,

but he (F)waved goodbye sayin', (C)"Don't you (A7)cry;

I'll be (Dm7)back (G7)again (C)someday."

Thumpety thump thump, thumpety thump thump,

look at (C#dim)Frosty (G)go!

Thumpety thump thump, thumpety thump thump,

(G7)over the hills of (C)snow.
