O Church Arise

O church, arise and put your (C)armor on,

hear the (F)call of Christ, our (C)(F)Captain.

For now the weak can say that (C)they are strong in the (F)strength that God has (C)(F)given.

With shield of (Bb)faith and belt of (C)truth,

we'll stand (Dm)against the devil's (C)lies.

An army (F)bold whose battle (C)cry is love,

reaching (Bb)out to those in (C)(F)darkness.

Our call to war, to love the (C)captive soul,

but to (F)rage against the (C)(F)captor.

And with the sword that makes the (C)wounded whole,

we will (F)fight with faith and (C)(F)valor.

When faced with (Bb)trials on ev'ry (C)side,

we know the (Dm)outcome is (C)secure.

And Christ will (F)have the prize for (C)which He died:

an (Bb)inheritance of (C)(F)naHim.

So Spirit, tions.

Whoa, (C)whoa, (Gm7)whoa,

(C)whoa. (F)Whoa, (C)whoa,

(Gm7)whoa, (C)whoa.

(F)Come see (Gm7)the

hey, (C)yeah, whoa.
