There Is A Higher Throne

There is a (C)higher throne (D)than all this (Gsus)world (G)has known,

(D)where (Em)faithful ones from (D)(C)ev'ry tongue (Am)will one day (Dsus)(D)come.

(G)Before the (C)Son we'll stand,

(D)made faultless (Gsus)through (G)the Lamb.

(D)(Em)Believing hearts find (D)(C)promised (Am)grace,

salvation (Dsus)comes.

(G)Hear heaven's (C)voices (D)sing,

their thund'rous (Gsus)anthem (G)rings.

(D)Through (Em)em'rald courts and (D)(C)sapphire (Am)skies their praises (Dsus)rise.

(G)All glory, (C)wisdom, pow'r,

(D)strength, thanks and (Gsus)honor (G)are (D)to God our (Em)King,

who (D)reigns (C)on high (Am)(Dsus)(D)(G)forevermore.

(G)And there we'll (C)find our home,

(D)our life (Gsus)before (G)the throne.

(D)We'll (Em)honor Him in (D)(C)perfect song (Am)where we (Dsus)(D)belong.

(G)He'll wipe each (C)tearstained eye (D)as thirst and (Gsus)(G)hunger die.

(D)The Lamb (Em)becomes our (D)(C)Shepherd King;

(Am)we'll reign with

(Dsus)Him. (D)(G)Hear heaven's (C)voices sing,

(D)their thund'rous (Gsus)anthem (G)rings.

(D)Through (Em)em'rald courts and (D)(C)sapphire skies (Am)their praises (Dsus)rise.

(G)All glory, (C)wisdom, pow'r,

(D)strength, thanks and (Gsus)honor (G)are (D)to God our (Em)King,

who (D)reigns (C)on high (Am)(Dsus)(D)(G)forevermore.

(G)more.
