What's (F)wrong with the world, mama?

People livin' like they (C)ain't got no mama.

I think the whole (Dm)world's addicted to the drama,

only attracted to (Bb)things that will bring the trauma.

Overseas, yeah, we (F)try to stop terrorism,

but we still got (C)terrorists here livin' in the USA,

(Dm)the big CIA,

the Bloods and the (Bb)Crips and the KKK.

But if you only have (F)love for your own race,

then you only leave (C)space to discriminate,

and to discriminate (Dm)only generates hate.

And when you hate, then you're (Bb)bound to get irate,

yeah. The (F)badness is what you demonstrate.

And that's exactly how (C)anger works and operates.

Man, you gotta have (Dm)love just to set it straight.

Take control of your mind (Bb)and meditate.

Let your soul gravitate to the (F)love,

y'all. People killin', people (C)dyin'.

Children hurt and you hear them (Dm)cryin'.

Can you practice what you (Bb)preach?

And would you turn the other (F)cheek?

send some guidance from (Dm)above,

Is the world insane?

Nations dropping bombs, (F)chemical gases filling lungs of little ones,

with (C)ongoin' sufferin' as the youth die young.

In this (F)world that we livin' in,
