We Plow The Fields And Scatter

We plow the fields and scatter the good seed on the land,

(C)but (G)it (D)is (G)fed (C)and (G)(D7)(Em)watered (G)by (C)God's (D7)almighty (G)hand.

He sends the (C)snow in (G7)(G)winter,

the (C)warmth to (G)swell (C)the (G)grain,

the (C)breezes and the (F)(C)sunshine, and (Dm7)soft (G)(G7)refreshing (C)rain.

All good gifts (G)around us are (C)sent from (G7)heav'n (C)(G)above.

Then (C)thank (G)the (C)Lord, (G)O (Am)thank (E)the (Am)Lord (C)for (F)all

(C)His (G)(C)love.

He only is the Maker of all things near and far.

(C)He (G)paints (D)the (G)(C)wayside (G)(D7)(Em)flower, (G)He (C)lights the (D7)evening (G)star.

The winds and (C)waves (G7)obey

(G)Him, by (C)Him the (G)birds (C)are (G)fed.

Much (C)more to us, His (F)(C)children,

He (Dm7)gives our (G)(G7)daily (C)bread.

All good gifts (G)around us are (C)sent from (G7)heav'n (C)(G)above.

Then (C)thank (G)the (C)Lord, (G)O (Am)thank (E)the (Am)Lord (C)for (F)all

(C)His (G)(C)love.

We (C)love.
