There Is a Higher Throne

There is a (A)higher throne (B)than all this (Esus)world (E)has known,

(B)where (C#m)faithful ones from (B)(A)ev'ry tongue (F#m7)will one day (Bsus)come.

(E)Before the (A)Son we'll (B)stand,

made faultless (Esus)through (E)the Lamb.

(B)(C#m)Believing hearts (B)find (A)promised (F#m7)grace,

salvation (Bsus)comes.

(E)Hear heaven's (A)voices (B)sing,

their thund'rous (Esus)(E)anthem rings.

(B)Through (C#m)em'rald courts and (B)(A)sapphire skies (F#m7)their praises (Bsus)rise.

(E)All glory, (A)wisdom, pow'r,

(B)strength, thanks and (Esus)(E)honor are (B)to God our

(C#m)King, who (B)reigns (A)on high (F#m7)(Bsus)(B)(E)forevermore.

(E)And there we'll (A)find our home,

(B)our life (Esus)before (E)the throne.

(B)We'll (C#m)honor Him in (B)(A)perfect song (F#m7)where we (Bsus)belong.

(E)He'll wipe each (A)tearstained (B)eye as thirst and (Esus)(E)hunger (B)die.

The Lamb (C#m)becomes (B)our (A)Shepherd (F#m7)King;

we'll reign with

(Bsus)Him. (E)Hear heaven's (A)voices (B)sing,

their thund'rous (Esus)(E)anthem (B)rings.

Through (C#m)em'rald courts and (B)(A)sapphire (F#m7)skies their praises (Bsus)rise.

(E)All glory, (A)wisdom, (B)pow'r,

strength, thanks and (Esus)(E)honor (B)are to God our

(C#m)King, who (B)reigns (A)on (F#m7)high (Bsus)(B)(E)forevermore.

(F#m7)more. (G#m7)Forevermore.

(E)more.

(E)more.
