Speak O Lord

Speak, (Eb)O (Ab)Lord, as we (Db)come to You to receive the food of Your (Fm7)holy Word.

(Db)Take (Eb)Your (Ab)truth, plant it (Db)deep in us.

Shape and fashion us in Your (Ebsus)(Ab)likeness,

that the (Eb)light of

(Ab)Christ might be (Dbmaj7)seen today in our (Eb)acts of (Ab)love and our (Dbmaj7)deeds of (Ebsus)faith.

(Db)Speak, (Eb)O (Ab)Lord, and (Db)fulfill in us all Your purposes for Your (Ebsus)(Ab)glory.

(Db)Teach (Eb)us, (Ab)Lord, full (Db)obedience, holy reverence,

true (Fm7)humility.

(Db)Test (Eb)our (Ab)thoughts and our (Db)attitudes in the radiance of Your (Ebsus)(Eb)purity.

Cause our faith to (Ab)rise, cause our (Dbmaj7)eyes to see Your (Eb)majestic (Ab)love and (Dbmaj7)(Ebsus)authority.

(Db)Words (Eb)of (Ab)pow'r that can (Db)never fail,

let the truth prevail over (Ebsus)(Eb)unbelief.

(Db)Speak, (Eb)O (Ab)Lord, and (Db)renew our minds.

Help us grasp the heights of Your (Fm7)plans for us.

(Db)Truths (Eb)(Ab)unchanged from the (Db)dawn of time that will echo down through (Ebsus)(Eb)eternity.

And by grace we'll (Ab)stand on Your (Dbmaj7)promises,

and by (Eb)faith we'll (Ab)walk as You (Dbmaj7)walk with (Ebsus)us.

(Db)Speak, (Eb)O (Ab)Lord, 'til Your (Db)church is built and the earth is filled with Your (Ebsus)(Eb)unbelief.

(Ebsus)(Ab)glory.
