Have (Am)you ever wondered, well I have,

about how when (Bb)I say, say "red" for example,

there's no way of (Am)knowing if "red" means the same thing in your head as (Bb)"red" means in my head when someone says "red"?

And how (Am)if we are travelling at almost the speed of light (Bb)and we're holding a light,

that light would still (Am)travel away from us,

Which seems right in a way,

but I'm trying to (Bdim)say, I'm not sure,

but I wonder if inside my (B)head,

I'm not just a bit diff'rent from some of my (C)friends.

And when ev'ryone shouts like they seem to like (Fmaj7)shouting the noise in my head is incredibly loud (Em)and I just wish they'd stop,

And I'm sorry I'm not quite explaining it right,

and this burning inside me would usually fade,

and my heart is pounding, and my eyes are (F)burning,
