Praise You In This Storm

I was sure by (Bb)now,

God, You would have reached (F)down and wiped our tears away,

stepped in and (Dm)saved the day.

my strength But once (Bb)again

How can I say, (F)"Amen," and it's still raining.

But (Gm)as the thunder rolls, I (Bb)barely hear You whisper through the (Dm)rain,

"I'm (C)with you."

And (Gm)as Your mercy falls, I (Bb)raise my hands and praise the God who (F)gives and takes (C)away.

(Dm)And I'll praise You in this (Bb)storm,

and I will lift my (F)hands,

for You are who You (C)are,

no matter where I (Dm)am.

And ev'ry tear I've (Bb)cried

You hold in Your (F)hand.

You never left my (C)side.

And though my heart is (Gm)torn,

(Bb)I will praise You in this (F)storm.

(Dm)I remember (Bb)when I stumbled in the (F)wind.

You heard my cry to You,

and raised me (Dm)up again.

my strength is almost (Bb)gone.

How can I carry (F)on if I can't find

You? But (Gm)as the thunder rolls,

I (Bb)barely hear You whisper through the (Dm)rain,

"I'm (C)with you."

And (Gm)as Your mercy falls, I (Bb)raise my hands and praise the God who (F)gives and takes (C)away.

(Dm)And I'll praise You in this (Bb)storm,

and I will lift my (F)hands,

for You are who You (C)are,

no matter where I (Dm)am.

And ev'ry tear I've (Bb)cried

You hold in Your (F)hand.

You never left my (C)side.

And though my heart is (Gm)torn,

(Bb)I will praise You in this (F)storm.

(Gm7)I lift my eyes unto the (Bb)hills.

Where does my help come (F)from?

My help comes from the Lord,

the (Am7)Maker of Heaven and Earth.

(Gm7)I lift my eyes unto the (Bb)hills.
