Praise You in This Storm

I was sure by now,

God, You would have reached down and wiped our tears away,

stepped in and saved the day.

But my But once again

How I say, "Amen," and it's still raining.

But (Gm)as the thunder rolls, I (Bb)barely hear You whisper through the rain,

"I'm with you."

And (Gm)as Your mercy falls, I (Bb)raise my hands and praise the God who gives

and takes away.

(Dm)And I'll praise You in this storm,

and I will lift my (F)hands,

for You are who You are,

no matter where I (Dm)am.

And ev'ry tear I've (Bb)cried

You hold in Your (F)hand.

You never left my side.

And though my heart is torn,

(Bb)I will praise You in this storm.

(Dm)I remember when I stumbled in the wind.

You heard my cry to You,

and raised me up again.

But my is almost gone.

How I car ry on if I can't find You?

But (Gm)as the thunder rolls,

I (Bb)barely hear You whisper through the rain,

"I'm with you."

And (Gm)as Your mercy falls,

I (Bb)raise my hands and praise the God who gives

and takes away.

(Dm)And I'll praise You in this storm,

and I will lift my (F)hands,

for You are who You are,

no matter where I (Dm)am.

And ev'ry tear I've (Bb)cried

You hold in Your (F)hand.

You never left my side.

And though my heart is torn,

(Bb)I will praise You in this storm.

(Gm7)I lift my eyes unto the hills.

(Bb)Where does my help come from?
