My Savior My God

I am not skilled to understand what God has willed,

what God has (Dm7)planned.

I only know at His right (C)hand

stands One who is my (F)Savior.

I take Him at His word and deed.

Christ died to save me, this I (Dm7)read,

and in my heart I find a (Csus)need

of Him to be my (F)Savior.

That He would leave His place on (Bb)high and come for sinful men to (F)die.

You count it strange, so once did (Csus)I

before I knew my (F)Savior.

My Savior (Dm)loves, my Savior (Bb)lives,

my Savior's (F)always there for (C)me.

My God He (Dm)was, my God He (Bb)is,

my God is (F)always gonna be.

(C)My Savior (Dm)loves, my Savior (Bb)lives,

my Savior's (F)always there for (C)me.

My God He (Dm)was, my God He (Bb)is,

my God is (F)always gonna (Csus)be.

Yes, living, dying, let me bring my strength,

my solace from this (Dm7)spring, that He who lives to be my (Csus)King once died to be my (F)Savior.

Yes, living, dying, let me

(F)My Savior (Dm7)loves, my Savior (Bbsus2)lives,

my Savior's (F)always there for (C)me.

My God He (Dm7)was, my God He (Bbsus2)is,

my God is (F)always gonna be.

(C)My Savior (Dm7)loves, my Savior lives,

my Savior's (C)always there for me.

My God He (Bbsus2)was, my God He is,
