Loving My Jesus

I was a (C)wand'ring soul, trav'ling a wellworn road,

a sinner so (F)far (Fsus)from (F)home,

'cause no second (C)chance in (G)sight.

The I heard You (Am)call my name,

is I felt You (C)lift my shame.

And I made a (F)vow (Fsus)that (F)day,

is that I'd spend the (C)rest of my (G)life loving my (F)Jesus,

showing my (C)scars,

telling my (Am7)story of how mercy can (G)reach you (Gsus)where you (G)are.

And I pray the (F)whole world hears;

the cry of my (Am7)heart

is to see all the (Dm)ones (C)I (F)love loving my (C)(F)Jesus.

(F)Sin tries to (C)make you hide,

whispers that same old lie:

a keep all your (F)pain (Fsus)(F)inside,

'cause no one will (C)(G)understand.

The last thing this (Am)lost world needs is someone I'm (C)tryin' to be.

The truth that has (F)set (Fsus)me (F)day,

is that I'm just a (C)bro of ken (G)man loving my (F)Jesus,

showing my (C)scars,

telling my (Am7)story of how mercy can (G)reach you (Gsus)where you (G)are.

And I pray the (F)whole world hears;

the cry of my (Am7)heart

is to see all the (Dm)ones (C)I (F)love loving my (C)Jesus.

(F)Sin tries to

(G)When all is (C)said and done,

when my last song's been sung,

I'll stand face to (F)face (Fsus)with the (F)One

who gave (C)all for (G)me.

May all I (Am)have to show be all that (C)mattered most:

making Your (F)great (Fsus)name (F)known.

Let this be my (C)only (G)legacy:

loving my (F)love, all the (Dm)ones (C)I (F)love

loving my (C)Jesus.
