In the Hands of the Potter

(C)I still remember when I heard You call me by (Em)name.

Nailscarred I'd (C)follow You anywhere, knew I could trust You in (Em)(D)anything.

But now (C)sorrow beats down on me,

waiting for You to come (Em)through.

I'm all (C)alone with my questions,

I'm dry and cracked open.

I (Em)thirst side for (D)You.

And as I (G)fall apart, come flood this (Dsus)desert heart.

(C)Fall like the rain,

Living Water.

(G)And I know Your way is best.

Lord, help me (Dsus)find my rest,

(D)and (C)I'll be the clay in the hands of the Potter.

(C)My world is spinning, my life seems so out of (Em)control.

Nailscarred I'd (C)hands tell the story of love that will never let (Em)go of (D)me.

Through the (C)sunshine or rain, on me,

I know where my hope is (Em)found.

I'm What You (C)started in me I know You will complete from the (Em)thirst side for (D)out.

And as I (G)fall apart, come flood this (Dsus)desert heart.

(C)Fall like the rain,

Living Water.

(G)And I know Your way is best.

Lord, help me (Dsus)find my rest,

(D)and (C)I'll be the clay in the hands of the Potter.

(G)My world is (Em)breaking me,

(C)Your love is (G)shaping me.

(D)And now the (Em)enemy is (C)afraid of what You're (G)making me.

(Bm7)My world is (Em7)breaking me,

(C)Your love is (G)shaping (Bm)me.

And now the (Em7)enemy is (C)afraid of what You're (G)making me.

(Dsus)My world is (Em)breaking (C)me,

Your love is (G)shaping (D)me.

And now the (Em)enemy is (C)afraid of what You're (Dsus)making me.

(D)And as I (G)fall apart, come flood this (D)desert heart.

(C)Fall like the rain,

Living Water.

(G)And I know Your way is best.

Lord, help me (D)find my rest,

and (C)I'll be the clay in the hands of the Potter.

(Gsus2)And (C)I'll be the clay in the hands of the Potter.
