Healing Rain

Healing rain is coming down,

it's coming nearer

to this old town.

Rich and poor,

the (F)weak and (C5)strong,

it's bringing mercy,

(G)it won't be long.

Healing rain is (F)coming (C5)down,

it's (F)coming (C5)closer (G)to the lost and found.

Tears of joy

and (F)tears of (C5)shame

are (F)washed (C5)forever (G)in Jesus' name.

Healing rain, it comes with (Am7)fire.

So, let it fall

and take us (C)higher.

Healing rain, I'm not (Am7)afraid

(F)to be washed in

Heaven's rain.

Lift your heads,

let us (C)return

to the mercy seat where time began.

(F)And in your eyes

I see the (C)pain;

Come (F)soak (C)this dry heart with healing rain.

And only You,

the Son of (Am7)Man,

could take a (F)leper

and let him (C)stand.

So, lift Your hands.

They can be (F)held by someone greater:

the great I AM.

Healing (Am7)rain, (F)to be washed in

Heaven's rain.

(C)Healing rain is falling down, (Gsus)healing rain is falling down.

(Am7)I'm not afraid,

(F)I'm not afraid.

(C)Healing rain is falling down, (Gsus)healing rain is falling down.

(Am7)I'm not afraid,

(F)I'm not afraid.

(C)Healing rain is falling down, (F)healing rain is falling down.
