God Is Bigger

You were (Gm)lying in your bed,

you were (Cm)feeling kind of sleepy,

but you (D)couldn't close your eyes because the room was getting (Gm)creepy!

Were those (Cm)eyeballs in the closet?

Was that (Gm)Godzilla in the hall?

There was (Cm)something big and (D)hairy casting (Gm)shadows on the wall.

Now your (Cm)heart is beating like a drum.

Your (Gm)skin is getting clammy.

There's a (Cm)hundred tiny monsters jumping (D)right into your jammies!

(C)God is bigger than the (G)boogeyman!

He's (D)bigger than Godzilla, or the (G)monsters on TV.

Oh, (C)God is bigger than the (G)boogeyman,

and He's (D)watching out for you and (G)me!

So when I'm (Cm)lying in my bed,

and the (Gm)furniture starts creeping, I'll just (D)laugh and say,

"Hey, cut that out!"

and (Gm)get back to my sleeping.

'Cause I (Cm)know that God's the biggest and He's (Gm)watching all the while.

So when (D)I get scared, I'll think of Him,

and close my eyes and smile.

(G)me! (Am)Watching, watching, watching (D)out for you and (G)me!
