Christ Is Risen

Let no one caught in sin remain inside the lie of inward shame.

We fix our eyes upon the cross,

and run to Him who showed great love and bled for us.

Freely You've bled for us.

Christ is (G)risen from the dead,

trampling over death by death.

Come (C)awake, come awake, come and (Em)rise up from the (D)grave.

Christ is (G)risen from the dead;

we are one with Him again.

Come (C)awake, come awake, come and (Em)rise up from the (D)grave.

(Gsus)Beneath the weight of all our sin,

You bowed to none but heaven's will.

No scheme of hell, no scoffer's crown,

no burden great can hold You down.

In strength You reign.

Forever let Your (G)church proclaim:

Christ is (Em)rise up from the (D)grave.

(G)Oh, (C)death, (Em7)where is your (D)sting?

(G)Oh, (C)hell, (Em7)where is your (D)victory?

(G)Oh, (C)church, come (Em7)stand in the (D)light.

Our (G)God is not (C)dead;

He's (Em7)alive, He's (D)alive!

Christ is (G)risen from the dead,

trampling over death by death.

Come (C)awake, come awake, come and (Em)rise up from the (D)grave.

Christ is (G)risen from the dead;

we are one with Him again.

Come (C)awake, come awake, come and (Em)rise up from the (D)grave.

Christ is (G)risen from the dead,

trampling over death by death.

Come (C)awake, come awake, come and (Em)rise up from the (D)grave.

Christ is (G)risen from the dead;

we are one with Him again.

Come (C)awake, come awake, come and (Em7)rise up from the grave.
